Not at all.
The Little Reader Learning System is meant to complement all of the others methods parents use for helping their children learn to read.
It is not meant to replace anything – especially not reading books to your child.
Aim to read books to your child every day. You can also incorporate playing with letters and words into your games. Label things around your house. When you go out, point to and name the things that you and your child see. All of these activities help to promote early literacy.
