This article includes two sections that apply to different versions of Little Reader. Please select the version of Little Reader installed on your computer below:

Little Reader 3.x

Little Reader 2.x

 

The following section applies to Little Reader 3.x:

 

To unlock the full functionality of your Little Reader, you must have a purchased license key in your BrillKids Account. If you do not have a license key yet, please purchase one from our BrillKids Online Store.

 

To download your license key, please visit your Account Management page by clicking here and using your email and password to log in to your BrillKids Account. Then, follow the steps below:

 

1. Go to your Account Management page by placing your cursor over the Account link at the top right of the page and clicking on the Purchases link, as shown below:

   

2. On the leftmost side of the screen, click on 2. Curriculum & License Key.

   

3. All license keys associated with your purchases and trials will be shown on the page. Browse for the license key in which you would like to import to Little Reader.

   

4. Open Little Reader and go to the Tools Screen. Click on the Enter License Key button at the bottom right corner of the Software Information section.

   

5. You will automatically be prompted to import the license key to your computer. Copy the license key from the Account Management page and paste it in the Enter License Key box. Then, choose Activate to begin importing the license key and unlocking the full functionality of your software.

   

   Note: You must be connected to the Internet to activate your copy of Little Reader.

6. Once Little Reader finishes communicating with our server, a small window will pop up telling you that you have successfully activated your BrillKids program.

   

 

The following section applies to Little Reader 2.x:

 

To unlock the full functionality of your Little Reader, you must have a purchased license key in your BrillKids Account.

 

If you do not have a license key yet, please purchase one from our BrillKids Online Store. To download your license key, please visit your Account Management page by clicking here and using your email and password to log-in to your BrillKids Account. Then, follow the steps below:

 

1. Go to your Account Management page by placing your cursor over the Account link at the top right of the page and clicking on the Purchases link, as shown below:

2. On the leftmost side of the screen, click on 2. Curriculum & License Key.

3. All license keys associated with your purchases and trials will be shown on the page. Browse for the license keys in which you would like to download and click on the download link to get your license key.

4. Once it starts downloading, a pop-up will appear, asking if you want to save or open your license key. Choose to open the file.

5. After downloading the license key, you will automatically be prompted to import the license key to your computer. Choose Activate to begin importing the license key and unlocking the full functionality of your software.

While importing your license key, you may be prompted to sign in to your BrillKids Account. Simply enter your login details to continue the activation process. If you don't have a BrillKids Account yet, just click on the sign up button to create an account.

NOTE: Make sure you sign in to the BrillKids Account where your license key is assigned to in order to activate it or IT WILL NOT WORK.

6. Once Little Reader finishes communicating with our server, a small window will pop up telling you that you have successfully activated your BrillKids program.
