BrillKids Shipping Policy

(Note: Installment Plans are no longer available as of December 30, 2011.)

BrillKids handles all packages with care but as soon as they are received by the shipping office/service, they are no longer in our control. Package deliveries may get delayed due to weather conditions etc. and for that we will not be held responsible as it is not in our hands to control such matters.

 

Shipping Duration

Depending on your shipping method, your package will take 2-9 working days for complete delivery if shipped through the express method (FedEx) or 10-45 working days for regular surface mail (Regular Post.) All shipped items may be tracked, although reliability of tracking will be solely based on the shipping method used.

For items shipped through the EXPRESS METHOD, please contact support@brillkids.com to ask for your tracking code. You may track your parcel's delivery through this website.

For items shipped through the REGULAR METHOD, please contact support@brillkids.com to ask for your tracking code. You may track your parcel's delivery through this page.

Note that the reliability of tracking is subjective to the capability of the courier. Express mail customers are offered the most detailed tracking service, whereas regular mail customers are only afforded what is provided by Hong Kong Post and their destination country's postal service.

All BrillKids products are manufactured, assembled, and shipped from Hong Kong (unless expressly fulfilled by a local distributor.)

Should the package be returned to us due to a mistake in address made by the customer or unavailability of the recipient, the customer will be required to pay for a second shipping fee to re-ship the product.

 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes May Apply

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from BrillKids.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to a country may be subject to customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

 

BrillKids Return Policy

If at any time within 30 days of purchasing our BrillKids Learning System, you would like to return your product due to reasons which do not conflict with our return policy below, then contact us to process your refund. You are NOT entitled to a refund, if you: simply change your mind or no longer want the goods; knew about the particular fault prior to purchase; and/or Were responsible for causing the fault or damage to the product.

 

Before Returning the Product

If you're having difficulty installing any of our products, then let us know, and we'll be more than happy to help you. If you're having problems using or configuring our software, take advantage of our technical support. Our professional and trained support staff have a great deal of knowledge and are happy to help out when you need it.

 

Terms and Conditions
This return policy ONLY COVERS ITEMS PURCHASED FROM OUR ONLINE STORE. This policy does not cover items purchased from our local distributors worldwide. If you would like to return your product purchased from a distributor, kindly contact them directly.

BrillKids will exchange or refund a product if it is returned to us in its original condition, and as such, undamaged. The customer will pay for the return shipping cost. Defective products will be replaced with the original product purchased. For products that cannot be replaced, a full refund will be provided. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

If you are unable to install and activate the software, a refund may be given for download-only purchases. BrillKids reserves the right to correct the problem through our Customer Ticketing Service before a download product is refunded.

All return requests must be sent within 30 days of delivery for offline products (ex. backup CDs) and 30 days of purchase for downloadable products (ex. Learning Systems).

 

No Cancellation of Installment Plan

Choosing the installment plan means a fixed amount will be charged automatically to your account every month, for 6 or 12 months, until the indicated product price has been paid for COMPLETELY. Getting the BrillKids installment plan legally binds you to fulfill the full term of your installment plan, depending on whether you get the 6-month installment plan or the 12-month installment plan. Our system will continue to charge you the specified amount every month until the term is completed.
