Sometimes you may encounter an error in Little Reader, Little Math or Little Musician saying you are missing certain system fonts, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Comic Sans MS, or Tahoma. This error also pops up when the fonts currently installed in your computer are damaged or corrupted. To solve this problem, simply follow the steps below to install the fonts required for Little Reader and Little Math. 1. Download bk-lr-fonts.zip onto your computer: http://d2.brillkids.com/upload/files/support/bk-lr-fonts.zip
2. Extract the files inside and install the fonts following the instructions for the OS you are using:
For Windows XP users:
- From your Start menu, open your Control Panel (switch to Category View).
- Go to Appearance and Themes.
- Click on Fonts at the left-hand side panel to open the Fonts window.
- Click on the File menu and select Install New Font...
- Locate and select the font files you want to install and click OK. Alternatively you may simply select the font files you've extracted and drag-and-drop these files into the Fonts window.
- If a window pops up saying, [Font Name] font is already installed, just click OK to continue installing the fonts.
For Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 users:
- From your Start menu, open your Control Panel (switch to Category View).
- Go to Appearance and Themes.
- Click on Fonts at the left-hand side panel to open the Fonts window.
- Select the font files you've extracted and drag-and-drop these files into the Fonts window.
- Alternatively you may double-click on the font files to install the fonts (or right-click on a file and select Install).
